  • Where is Howdy Storage located?

Follow University /Hwy 60 about 4 miles south of Texas A&M.  Turn right on Stewarts Meadow.  Address for our storage facility in College Station is 8877 Stewarts Meadow.

 

  • What Size Storage Units Can I Rent?

We only have 10 X 15 storage units.  When you log onto the website you can select the number you want.

 

  • What Type Of Documentation Do I Need To Provide In Order To Rent A Space?

 We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver's license. state ID or passport).

 

  • Does The Address Provided On File Have To Be A Local Address? 

No it does not; we need the one that any mail is going to be received at.

 

  • Do You Have Climate Controlled, Indoor Or Drive-Up Storage, Etc.?

We only offer Drive-Up Storage.

 

  • What Is Drive-Up Storage?

You drive straight up to your unit, park, unload, and take off.  Our roll-up doors make accessing your unit a breeze.

 

  • Can I Rent a Unit Over the Phone or Online?

The only way to rent a storage unit is online because the rental agreement can only be completed there.  This is for your protection as well as the protection of others.

 

  • When Is My Payment Due?

The first month is due when you sign the lease agreement.  Then your next bill will be due on the 1st of the following month.

 

  • What Forms Of Payment Do You Accept? 

At Howdy Storage, we make paying for your storage unit as easy as possible. You can make your payment in person, over the phone, or through our online payment portal. We also give you the option to have your monthly payment deducted from your credit card or debit card.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks, cash and money orders.

 

  • How Quickly Can I Move In To My Storage Unit?

Once you have rented your storage unit at Howdy Storage, you can move in as early or as late as you’d like.

  • Do We Provide A Lock? 

You must provide your own lock.  We recommend a master lock type 2.

 

  • How Often Can I Access My Storage Unit?

Howdy Storage units in College Station, Texas are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.

 

  • Who Else Has Access To My Storage Unit?

The unit you rent is secured with your lock and your key - only you can decide who has access to your unit and who doesn't.

 

  • How Long Can I Rent A Unit?

Rent your unit for as long (or short) as you need!  We offer month-to-month leases and bill in one-month increments.  Our goal is to make your storage experience as simple and easy as possible


  • Are My Items Insured While Being Stored At Howdy Storage?

Insurance for your items is a requirement for the Howdy Storage. We do not insure your items. Please note: if you have homeowner's or renter's insurance, your property may be covered, but you should double check with your agent.

 

  • Are There Any Items That I Am NOT Able To Store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, any food items and perishables. Please contact us If you have any questions regarding a specific item.

 

  • Do You Sell Boxes And Storage Supplies?

No we do not.

 

  • I'm Ready To Move Out Of My Unit - Do You Require Notice?

Since all contracts are month-to-month, we require a 30 day notice before you move out so all paperwork can be complete by the date you would like to move out.

 

  • Do You Prorate The Last Month?

We do not prorate the last month.
